Frequently Asked Questions

Do I really need a hair and makeup artist?

Short answer: Yes!

We are fortunate to work with highly experienced artists who have been styling for over 25 years, many of whom regularly work on-camera and at our studio.
Their goal — like mine — is to help you look and feel confident, natural, and ready to walk through every casting door.

Hair and makeup services are available for all ages, male and female, and are tailored specifically for camera-ready looks.

Do I come with wet hair?

No.
Please arrive with your hair clean, dry, and styled in your usual way — parted where you normally part it.

This gives our hair and makeup team a perfect starting point to fine-tune your look and easily adjust for different setups during the session.

Should I send selfies of my wardrobe before the session?

Highly recommended.
Sharing selfies ahead of time allows us to focus entirely on creativity during your shoot.

Coming in with clarity about the roles you're aiming for leads to more impactful, confident images — and a more fruitful, focused session.

Do you recommend working with a wardrobe stylist?

Yes, for some clients.
Wardrobe stylists are not just great at fit and color; they also help select clothing that aligns with the characters or professional image you’re targeting.

It’s an excellent investment if you want a curated, high-level session.

Do you offer retouching?

Yes!
Your session includes 2 complimentary retouches.

Additional retouches are $25 each, with discounted packages available when ordering more than six.

Our philosophy:
Retouching should enhance your natural appearance, not alter it.
We aim for polished, authentic results — but you have final say on all edits.

How long does the session take?

The session lasts about 2 hours.

How soon after will I receive the images?

Within 3 Business days.

Do You offer coaching during the session?

Yes! I offer subtle, director-style coaching throughout your session.
Because I know what it’s like to be on the other side of the camera, I work to create a natural, relaxed environment where you feel fully yourself — and the photos reflect that authenticity.

Is the deposit refundable?

Deposits are non-refundable.

However, if you reschedule within 72 business hours (Monday–Friday), your deposit will carry over to your new date.
If you reschedule outside of that window, a second deposit will be required (both deposits will apply to the new booking).

Pro Tip:
We strongly recommend booking out your day with your agent/manager to avoid conflicts or rush stress.
